Was the speaker authoritive?
- jeff knows his stuff. deepa had his back. great tag teaming
- And he's a good presenter, too! Kept the crowd engaged
- Nicely done. Deepa big help too.
- He's written quite a few components
- On things he had researched he was, but as questions got outside of that, not so much.
Was the Session Informative?
- This has been the most useful session for understanding the differences in philosophy between Flex 3 and 4. The very simple examples were amazingly good at showing the principles without "fluff."
- I learned the difference between the compnent life cycles for Halo v Spark
- This session was a lot better than I was expecting... not sure what I was expecting, but it was much more useful than I anticipated. He gave VERY simple examples to show the Halo/Spark differences, and that was really helpful to me.
Were the Slides Useful?
- Some slides I would have liked more time to take notes on the final bullet point
- Big topic, could have been broken up in a few sessions with more detail.
- Yes. Much easier to understand when seeing the life cycle steps
Additional Comments:
- great!
- The teamwork between Deepa and Jeff was really good as well, and it was great she was here as this is brand new and it would be hard for anyone outside Adobe to know every detail
- I liked seeing the differences. It's not that different. It's just enough to impove skinning.
- it was exactly what it needed to be
- Great Jeffrey! Just right. I have a better understanding of both Halo and Sparks.
- Very useful session for people transitioning to Flex 4
